Behind the Graphite

I've always loved the zoomed in snapshot.  The surprise moment in time that captures that memory and brings back the feelings and experience. 

 

I've always loved the eyes.  The window to our soul, our emotions and a glimpse of who we are. 

 

That is why I love capturing that moment and turning it into graphite.  So much is seen in the quick glimpse of time that can be captured in a photo.  Those are the moments I strive to transfer into a unique work of art.  Those are the stories I love to tell with the graphite from my pencils.
